Kathleen Laplante was born and raised in Manchester, N.H. She obtained a bachelor of science from the University of New Hampshire and worked for several years as a chemical engineer. She is now a writer and a baker and lives outside of Boston in Hudson, Mass., Kathleen is the proud mother of two distinguished young men.
